This workshop will introduce you to the world of block printing and textile design. You will learn carving techniques to create a one-of-kind stamp that can be used to print fabric, paper, and more. Come and enjoy a step-by-step class on hand printing your very own tote or bandana!
By the end of the workshop you will have a hand printed piece and a custom stamp to last you many more projects to come.
This is a hands-on guided workshop open to all levels. All materials will be provided!

Curious? 🌞 Let me give you some more details on the sun print process!!
Cyanotype is a rudimentary form of photography popularized in the late 1800s! It is where we get the word “blueprint” from! Using light sensitive chemicals we are able to create a plane that will photograph the shadow of an object. Possibilities are nearly endless on objects let light through or cast a shadow. This is the fun part of figuring it all out.
